Stayed between the 22nd July and the 5th August. With wife and two kids.
Stayed in room 413, which was suitable for the disabled. The only real difference was no bath but a walk in shower and that it was on the ground floor.
It had front room with fridge, microwave, coffee machine, bed settee and tv.
The bedroom had 2 double beds. And it's own TV. There was a free safe in the bedroom.
The bathroom was quite large.
Lots of draw space for clothes. Only minor complaint not much space to hang clothes up.
The maid service was good and even left note to say thanks for the tips.
The room was opposite the 2nd small pool. This pool was quiet during the day. There was occasional noise around 8:00 pm when some larger families came back from the parks. However, with the air conditioning in the rooms you don't hear it.
Breakfast was quite good range. Around $10 for full adult hot/cold buffet. We tended to have the continental, which was around $6. Since the children were not eating much we couldn't be bothered to go out for breakfast. I know Sizzlers was around $5. Plus sometimes they didn't charge for the children. The staff in the restuarant were excellent. The restuarant does get busier around 9:00 am.
There's a small counter by the restuarant where you can get tea and coffee for free any time of the day. Good on the return from the parks.
The bar was quite open and was family friendly.
There was a free internet access from the reception.
Front desk were very friendly and helpful. The free popcorn in reception was available in the afternoons. Sometimes there was cookies on the front desk too.
We walked to the nearby restuarants without any problems. Crossing the roads all looks daunting to us Brits but most drivers stopped if we hadn't quite crossed over in time at the lights. Olive Garden was the favourite. Eventhough Chevy's was good.
We ordered off the room service menu ( outside company delivering from local restuarants) one night due to the rain. The food was from sizzlers. Tasted good but slightly cold by the time delivered. The Deep Pan pizza, which is cooked onsite, was very good. See sign by restuarant for some of the meal deals ($12.95 for medium pizza- 2 toppings, breadsticks and soda).
There's a supermarket at the crossroads which is quite good for general groceries. There's a small tourist shop across the road from the hotel, which has a British section. Just a few small goods like Ribena ($8). We could of done with that earlier in the holiday since kids didn't like soda, apple juice, orange juice, milk or water that you can get in the parks.
The transport to the Disney parks was good. They don't tend to put the strollers underneath the coach. They expected to bring on board. The best part was we were the first pick up and first drop off. We were sometimes full after first 2nd hotel and missed the others off.
There was no transport to Universal or Seaworld, so we used the hotel's taxi service. It was $23 to Universal one way. The MEARS taxi's charged more.
We've stayed at the Quality Inn International, Comfort Inn LBV and the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort LBV but the Courtyard beats them all. The staff made it a very pleasant stay.
