We stayed here for 2 weeks with kids aged 11 and 12. We usually stay in villas so the accommodation seemed very average. Beds were comfy. Kitchen very small with not much workspace for making sandwiches etc. Swimming pool overcrowded and sometimes very noisy at night in the first week. By the second week they seemed to be controlling night time swimmers situation. Swimming pool area was not where we spent much time due to it not being a very inviting area and unsupervised kids running round pool. New pool nowhere near ready. Pizza Hut not impressive. Location is excellent. We will not stay here again.

Affordable rate/clean rooms with outstanding service...def a place i'd stay anytime in Disney area..

Stayed here the first week of June 2008 and then again in mid July 2008...and both times the front desk was quick and efficient getting me in and out in less than 5 minutes

“Exceeded expectation”

Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa

Aug 15, 2008

The apartment we stayed in was spacious and offered privacy, when needed, to the people in our party. We stayed in a three bed apartment with enormous fridge, cooker, microwave, dishwasher, spa bath and tv in every room with a large tv in the main living area. The master room is en-suite.

On-site amenties included a friendly convenience store with a built in Pizza Hut, which offered a standard service. The irish pub was described as a family pub but at times was rowdy with a mix of locals and holidaymakers. Saying that, there was never any negative or hostile atmosphere generated. Big screens shown all major sporting events. When booking in, you will need to supply credit card details to cover a $20 charge minimum for non-local phone calls etc. Obviously no charge is debited if you don't use any services. Cleaners have to be booked for a separate fee so be aware of this. This is because LBV is a "green" hotel. Trash chutes are at the end of each fllor of the blocks.

The resort offers spa facilities and information is available at Reception and numerous recorded invitations will be left on your phone e.g 3-4 over two week stay.

My main gripe is that the main pool facility was not open or even completed. The other pool was stuck between two blocks and seemed to be overcrowded probably because the larger pool was unavailable.

All things considered I would recommend this resort as a well placed base for all major parks and easily accessible to Disney especially.

“A place so nice I have been back 3 times in less than 1 year.”

Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa

Aug 14, 2008

I must say that this property is adorable. The staff has always been very kind and friendly whenever I interact with them. The room is sweet! My face, as well as my friends, dropped when we saw the room the first time. You really get value for what you are paying.
The grounds are very clean and well maintained.
The location is just down the block from Downtown Disney- so you are really in the heart of it all.
The first time I stayed at this property was in Oct 2007. I liked it so much I came back in Feb 2008 and July 2008. Service did not go down any time.
Its also really cool that if you forgot something there is a mall (outlet mall) next door.
So bottom line- great price, great location, warm staff. If you go down to Orlando you should definetly try this place. Its great for a nice short 3 day trip or a nice relaxing 7 day trip. Try it once you will be back- I know I was.

“Great Hotel”

Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa

Aug 13, 2008

This is a first class place. We booked a two bedroom appartment (through Virgin Holidays) and it was in excellent condition. It is self catering but there is a shop/pub restaurant and pizza takeaway on site.

The 2 bedrooms were big with the main one having ensuite toilet/ shower and jacuzzi bath. The other bedroom had a separate bathroom and shower. The living room and dining area is spacious. Each bedroom has a TV and there is a large flat screen TV in the living area.
The kitchen is well appointed with all the appliances needed and also has a washing machine and drier.

Reception staff and concierge were polite and helpfull. There is a small pool and they are building another at the moment.

There is a huge Walmart 1/2 mile down the road and Disney is about 15 mins away.

I would not hesitate to stay there again on my next trip.
