We booked this via Priceline 2 months ago at $75/night for the Phoenix Rock and Roll Marathon (actually we did the 1/2 marathon). Check in was fast and we were given a room around noon.
The parking garage is $12/day if you park your car. I actually parked at a meter and since it was a weekend did not have to feed it. The hotel is an open atrium type hotel (it previously was a Embassy Suites- a sister Hilton property) and looked well kept. Our fifth floor room had the living area/separate bedroom plan. A mini-fridge, microwave and bar sink were there and operable. There was a coffeemaker (the one cup wafer type) but only 2 regular coffee wafers.
There were TV's in both rooms but neither were flat panel. The bath/dressing was roomy and clean with Crabtree and Evelyn products. There is a robe in the closet. Towels were nice and thick.
The firm bed had nice crisp sheets with lots of fluffy pillows. I slept well both nights. USA TODAY was left at our door each morning. The rooms were fairly quiet and the a/c worked fine. The only thing I missed was the free happy hour and free breakfast one associates with Embassy Suites. There is a place to eat but we didn't try it. All and all worthy of a 3 star hotel.
It is a mile or 2 from the downtown and sport arenas. We had to drive a aways to find non-chain places to eat.
