My Partner and I booked the tour when we arrived in Mendoza. The tour was great. The guide/host was friendly, knowledgable and helpful. We went to 3 vineyards which differed in commercial aspects -size, quantity and process. The lunch was excellent, best in Mendoza, we highly recommend the Malbec Tour.

Superb tour! Booking was a snap and the itinerary was excellent. My son and I especially enjoyed the first stop at Pulenta Estate and won't soon forget the vision of Ana Pozo standing at the bodega entrance with a bottle of wine and glasses in hand and a smile that rivaled the beauty of the surrounding vineyards. The other wineries were also fun. The gourmet lunch at Bodega Ruca Malen, with the breathtaking Andes as a backdrop, was a treat. And our guide Maria? Her knowledge of winecraft and the area made the entire day perfect! We will be back soon.

The staff and guide at Ampora wine tours were some of the most knowledgeable, pleasant people I've worked with. Tours are small, which means there's no rushing around, there was enough time to do everything we wanted at each of the wineries, and each of the wineries they picked had a little something special. We got a real feel not only for the wineries, but the region and the countries, and would recommend their tours very very highly.

We have just returned from 9 months traveling around the world, and our day with Ampora Wine Tours still stands out as one of the best experiences of our trip. We had a wonderful guide in particular; as novices, we came away feeling that we had learned a lot from her, but also had an extremely enjoyable day.

Fantastic value for money - we paid approximately the same for this intimate tour (which included a 5 course lunch and almost free-flowing wine all day) as we did for a bog-standard coach tour around Napa/Sonoma, with no free lunch and very little wine included!
