This is truly a 5 star hotel. We arrived in Buenos Aires and were transferred to this hotel only to be amazed by its beauty. When we walked through the doors, it felt like we were transported to Paris. It was a remodeled office building, and they joined two other buildings to make the lobby. And it looks fantastic!
The front desk was impeccably trained. They were all very helpful, attentive, and sophisticated. It was clear that they had gone through excellent training.
The room was equally exquisite. The down comforters and wonderfully fluffy pillows were amazing. Everything about the room was new and, most importantly, was immaculately clean. The entire room felt plush, and it was a wonderful way to end the day. The bathroom was also superb with the typical amenities--glass shower, granite counter tops, etc.
The breakfast buffet was also one of the best. Everything is carefully prepared, and all of the foods were delicious. The service was also wonderful, and were very helpful and friendly. No complaints!
Finally, one thing happened that summed up the entire stay. When turndown service came and we were in the room, the maid sweetly asked if we wanted it. We declined, but she gave me not one chocolate, but a whole handful with a big smile on her face. This, to me, demonstrates that all levels of service are at a truly 5 star level.
Finally, the location is also very good. It is within walking distance to Calle Florida and Recoleta. For farther distances, it is also close to the San Martin metro station.
