We went to Eco Thermales as part of a day long tour, but did not eat dinner there.
I think word must be getting around about this place because it was fully booked both nights we were in La Fortuna. We were told they limit their numbers to 100 people at a time.
EcoThermales was right across the street from our hotel (hotel silencio del campo), and right next door to Baldi. There is no big sign revealing its location, and there is a gate at the entrance.
At the end of the driveway was a nice reception area where you get a towel each and a key for a locker. The change rooms were clean with showers and washrooms.
A short walk past the dining area and you come to the pools. There are three hot pools set up by increasing temperature. The pools all have smooth bottoms, so water shoes are optional. There is nothing too fancy about the set up, but we really appreciated the small, quiet, cozy atmosphere. The bar is located right next to the pools and works on the honor system (so you pay your bar bill at the front desk, so remember how much you had).
I can't comment on the food because we unfortunately had dinner elsewhere.
Having gone to the other hot springs, I really enjoyed ecothermales. A relaxing and laid back atmosphere and an honor bar system with great drinks made for a great experience. If I went back to La Fortuna, this is the only hot springs I would go to.
