We (myself and my partner) stayed for a fortnight returning home on the 20th June. It was fantastic from start to finish. The accomodation was great, nice big king sized comfy bed, air con, safe in the room, fridge,2 balconies, clean, fabulous room service, the staff cleaning the room were great. We stayed b&b - breakfast amazing - so much choice all good quality. We ate out in the hotel at the beach bar a few times - we stuck to mainly salads and the sandwichs/burgers. we ate in the orangie on the italian themed night for £22 each expensive but oh so worth every penny. one of the best meals I have ever had. The staff were fantastic everywhere - really a pleasure. They couldnt do enough and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is on the doorstep literally of Naama bay which was fabulous. Noise was never a problem, the room was very quiet.Though after being in the 40 degree sun all day we didint need rocking..struggling after 11 oclock!!!...
we tried diving - booked independently prior to going that was good, but not for us. the snorkelling in sharm is amazing had great fuin doing that. We did the quad biking again - that was fab. Book it with a local agent when you get there...and dont miss it its great!! We also went on day trips to Cairo - which I expected to hate - but didnt. It was brilliant. Some many contrasts in one place..the pyramids, the sphinx, the eygptian museum, the camels, the pony and traps, the poverty, the wealth - such extremes -, the city of the dead, the Nile...and thats before we went to the souk!! Amazing. But fly. for the sake of 30-40 quid it is so so worth it. We also went to Jerusalem - flying there was not an option - got picked up at midnight and returned back at 2am the following day. Totally exhausting but very very good. The border was a bit on an ordeal, the Dead Sea was an experience - felt really oily - and Jerusalem itself was great to see and wouldnt have missed it for the world. A great day, but very in depth -,and by the end of it was totally and utterly jiggered, but very glad we went. Alot of people who went were staying at the Taba border, just be aware if you go from Sharm it is a good trek on the bus. Israel was quite a bit more expensive too - but that may just have been the 2 places we visited.
All in all a fabulous fortnight, would thoroughly would recommend this hotel to anyone - all ages - you will love it!! ...I am struggling to find its equivilent in Morocco for sept and am struggling...I have been spoilt!!!!
