What Trump Marina lacks is modernization. The Casino is stuck in 1977 and the lack of restaurants/buffets is terrible. The few restaurants it holds are mainly pre-fixe dinners that start at $65/per person! The only place we ate was at the "Cafe", located on the second floor of the Casino, who served pretty decent food at reasonable prices and breakfast all day long. Definitely an older crowd with no night life available. The outdoor pool was a pleasant surprise with nice friendly service and a pretty decent Strawberry Daiquiri. The hotel staff was really friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice and clean. Some hotel guests suggested going to Harrahs to eat, but we're big fans of The Tropicana, and spent most of our time there. Overall, the hotel wasn't terrible, but compared to all of its other surrounding casinos, it seemed old, at times quiet, empty and just not what you would expect from a 2008 Casino nowadays. They need to get with the times!
