No wi-fi. Moving from the check in to the actual room was inconvenient as the hotel is very narrow and long and you feel a little claustrophobic inside. The rooms look good in photos but in real life the hotel already feels old. The rooms have no windows and in the daytime it feels strange having no sunlight. The Tv has few channels. And there are remotes and light switches and books and guides and all sorts of things in the room to make your stay complicated. Just trying to figure out which switch turns our which light is a job that I would rather not have done after a flight from Tokyo. Also the bathrooms are built in a way so you have no privacy whatsoever if you are there with someone else. Also the shower amenities were horrible. And so were the beverages and the bottled water was some cheap Scarlet branded pet bottle which I would never drink. Who knows where that water came from. The Scarlet was just like every other other "boutique" hotel in Singapore, looks good from a distance but when you look up close there is no substance, no soul.
