The location is very good . We were leaving in the morning so we did not suffer from the noisy works which was heard above our room. On the departure day we left the baggage in the baggage room , and found afterwards that an expensive set of eye glasses is missing from one of the bags. A complaint was sent to the hotel manager who politely answered that they investigated it with no results. Be careful while leaving bags there.

I recommend this hotel, it is well located, the hotel staff it is very helpfull the room very clean. Very close to shops and restaurants.
The private transfer from the airport to hotel it cost USD 25,00 per person or you can get a free shuttle to the city.

I stayed for 2 nights in a club room at the beginning of October. This gives the facility of using the club lounge at breakfast and more importantly in the evening for cocktails and snacks. And also a later checkout time.

The only drawback of the club rooms is that there are no rooms allocated for non smokers. The room I was allocated smelt strongly of smoke so I asked for a move. That turned out not to be possible, but the staff were very accommodating bringing a plug in air freshener. That combined with max A/C and opening the window resolved the issue.

The hotel location is fine. Very near to Orchard Road. Also there is a small street, Cuppage row, between the hotel and Orchard Road which has a good selection of restaurants and wine bars.

The pool is on the rooftop and is well equipped.

I will be staying here again.

I had better expectations from this hotel.

First of all, since they were renovating, the hammering and banging noise were unbearable. Finally, we got transferred to another room where there were no renovations nearby. However, much to my dismay, my new next door neighbor was a family of two children that wailed throughout the four nights I was there. The walls are just too thin that it felt like there were no walls at all. I could not sleep until the infant and toddler next door were asleep as well.

Secondly, the bathrooms were old and a bit dirty. The drainage was a bit stuck up and so the water would easily make a pool at my feet when I am showering. The bathrooms definitely need updating.

Thirdly, internet service at the business center was super expensive!!! I used it only for around 5 mins but the staff there charged me 4x that amount!!! After I complained to the front desk, they made the appropriate adjustment to my bill.

I must say though that I could not have found a more courteous and helpful staff. Despite it not being a 5-star hotel like the Shangrila, the staff were very accomodating.

Overall, for the price they charged, I expected better.
