I cannot say enough about this place. I have travelled all over the world and have not met a friendlier staff anywhere. I will definately be returning to stay next year. The property is maticulously maintaind and very safe with a guard on duty every night. Dave and his staff were not only very helpfull with my travel and excursion needs but became great friends.

After we had to wait a few days to fly to Boracay because of a Taifun, we finally arrived at Dave's Straw Hut Inn and we got a very warm welcom and a great stay there.
Dave's Straw Hut Inn is a very relaxed, quiet place, the bungalows are clean and the staff very helpfull.
We definitely enjoyed our stay there and we look forward to visit Boracay and Dave's Straw Hut Inn again.

It's was nice and cozy. Our rooms and premises were kept clean. While we were there, Boracay was hit by the typhoon Fengshen. The staff was very friendly and helpful; they tried to keep us updated with whatever info they were able to gather about the situation. I only wished they would pave the road from the beach to the inn. When it rains it gets muddy and hard to keep your feet from getting wet and dirty.

Dave's is an awesome place to stay on Boracay... especially if you're on a budget. The staff is super friendly and willing to accomodate all of your needs in a heartbeat. The minute we arrived we were served a cool glass of homemade mango tea and welcomed to the resort.

A note about Boracay: Depending on your plans for the island, choose your a resort that will accomodate your style. Most of the partys, bars, and popular restaurants are at the opposite end of the beach from Dave's. It's only about a 30 minute walk to trek from station 1 to 3, but if you want solitude and a nice place to kick it, Dave's is your place.

We loved it here, we stayed almost a week and our room was always well maintained and the shower/bathroom areas are SUPER clean.
