We stayed at the hotel for 4nights, and had a brilliant time. The hotel is fab. We had a full harbour view room which is lovely, good size bathroom, huge bed, tv, mini bar etc, and great to watch the light show in the evening. We went room only and paid for breakfast at the hotel which offered a good selection of buffet food.
The hotel had A la Carte restaurants, but we choose to eat out - Starbucks is within 5minutes, as is Outback Steak House, which does great pasta and prawns. Opposite the hotel is a small square with a few shops, bars and restaurants, all are good, and its great to sit out of an evening.
You can walk along the harbour front, which is lovely first thing in the morning.
We went over to the island a couple of times, you can go by star ferry, or the tube. Buy an Oyster card, from a tube station, you can then use in the 7-11 shops as well, and its the best way to use the buses, trains and ferries, the lowest fare is always deducted.
Do go up to the peak - but make sure you pick a clear day. Go over and see the largest outdoor buddha by cable car. The evening markets are good, especially the ladies market has absolutely everything and dont be afraid to barter. The temple market is ok, but for me the ladies market was the best.
The spaghetti house was also very good, great for lunch.
We had a great time, and will certainly return in the future. Where ever you stay in Hong Kong, its accessible.....
