I found cave-tubing.com through Trip advisor as I looking for an alternative to a cruise ship excursion. I am so glad I choose this company, and my party of 7 thinks I am a genious for finding such a stellar excursion which was 10 times better than the cruise ship excursions to choose from AND half the price!
This was an authentic Belize experience and one my family will never forget. We were quickly found by our tour guide, Rudi, the second we exited the Port in Belize city. First, I cannot say enough about how wonderful Rudi our tour guide was from the first second to the moment he dropped us off back at the Port he was pleasant, knowledgable, and made sure we were all having fun.
Our transport van was in excellent condition w/ air conditioning. We had a really neat drive through Belize with Rudi fillinf us in on all kinds of information about Belieze.
We hiked about 30-40 minutes through a rock covered path through the rainforest. This was just as much fun for me as I was seeing all kinds of plants you only read about and we did hear some Howler Monkey but didn't get to see them.
The actual Cave tubing was really neat and we will never forget it.
On the way back to port we stopped for a quick lunch at a local erstaurant near the tubing park, this was served with in 5 minutes of us getting there and the food was excellent! Our bill came to 37 dollars for 7 of us with drinks and beer.
Rudi was always aware of the time and made sure we were back to Port with out any problems.
This was our favorite part of our vaction, and we certainly have memories that will last a lifetime. II would gladly use cave-tubing.com again and highly recommend them and Rudi.

This is not a trip for the out of shape. There is a long walk to the river. The intertube was a little uncomfortable for me. But once we were on our way it was very nice. We also did the ATV riding before, so this was a much needed rest. Richard and Benard were really upbeat. I would use them again.

Cave-tubing.com is the best. I don’t know how anyone could possibly say that this activity was not good because my group thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Belize was one of the four ports of call on our 7 night Caribbean cruise. I had a group of 22, everyone had a great time and our group ranged in age from 8 – 52. I booked the combo (ATV and cave tubing) tour online. Yhony promptly responded to my reservation request and alerted me that my cruise itinerary had changed. The Cruise line never notified me or posted any change on the website. But I called them after Yhony told me that he had my ship coming in on a different day they confirmed that Yhony was correct, the itinerary had been changed. Yhony was at the cruise terminal to greet us prior to and after our tour. He introduced us to our guides and we were led to our air conditioned bus.
Our guides Richard, Bernard and Rene were the absolute best. As we made our way to the tour site Richard pointed out places of interest along the way, told us about Belize culture, stats, etc and answered all of our questions. The ATV trail was very exciting and muddy. We were able to do two caves and still got back to the cruise terminal with enough time to do some shopping. We were divided into three groups with one of the three guides leading each group through the caves while still keeping us together enough to splash each other. We saw a couple of bats flying in one of the caves and one hanging from the cave. The cave tubing and eco tour through Carnival costs more than the tour we did and they only go through one cave and stop along the tubing trail to point out some plants. Our guides were even kind enough to help some of the people who were on the cruise tour when they got stuck. These guys really work hard to make their tour an unforgettable experience and it was. They far exceeded our expectations, my group is still talking about this tour saying it was the best excursion we did.

We chose to go cave tubing with Yhonny at cave-tubing.com and had a fantastic day!! We were off the Carnival Glory at 8:15 a.m. (6:15 local time) and were greeted and promptly placed on the bus. We were entertained by tour guide Keith on the 45 minute ride to the caves--what a funny and friendly guy--thanks for letting me be first on the cashew wine samples! The tubing was great and we saw lots of bats inside the caves. We also took the ATV jungle tour with tour guide Dutch Boy and that was very cool too! We loved the home-made tamales for our after tour snack. Thanks to Yhonny, Keith, Dutch and the rest of the staff at cave-tubing.com. Their friendly customer service made this adventure a major FUN part of our cruise--and we did both tours for less $$ than booking cave tubing only through the ship shore excursions. We can't wait to go back and try it again!
