“Budget Hotel w/ Easy Disney Access”

Anaheim Plaza Hotel and Suites

Stayed here for two nights while visiting Disneyland. Definitely a budget hotel... rooms are plain, pillows not-to-comfy, and $10 a day for wi-fi! The quality is like an older Motel 6. Sheets were clean, floor was cleaned sometime in the last decade!

If you're only sleeping there you're fine. My 9-yr-old daughter liked the little "yard." Fridge in room was nice touch.

Hotel restaurant has such old decor it could now be called "vintage."

This hotel appears to be a money-making ride to the bank for the owners. It's apparent they have not made improvements for many years. If they spent ANY money on improvements they could not only charge more (I paid $79), but have much happier customers.

The best part was the staff -- very friendly and accommodating.

“Run Away!!!!!”

Anaheim Plaza Hotel and Suites

Me and my wife stayed at this neglected property last year for four nights.

The hotel location is all right, the staff are very helpful, BUT the key are the apartments: large, but completely neglected, with old linens and stong mold odor in all bedroom. the only highlight is the vicinity to Disney´s (walking Distance).

I´ll not stay there agais.

“Great place to stay”

My husband and I stayed here from June 27 to July 3. We just picked it off the internet as the previous hotels we have stayed at the last 5 trips were booked. We were not at all unhappy with our choice. After arriving in the morning, they kept our luggage for us until mid afternoon. Our room in the 700 block was quite spacious and clean. Towels were fine (no, not like the ones at home, but what are you expecting??) and we enjoyed having the safe in our room. Since we were only there at night, we were quite pleased with the hotel. Front desk people were very helpful and the other staff pleasant and said hello to you.
We did not use the pool or the restaurant, but they appeared well kept.
If we were back there at fireworks time, we just walked out to the parking lot to watch them (no big deal).
You walk alot at Disneyland, so the brief walk to the park is fine. Would rather have that than take a shuttle from a hotel farther away. If you want a coffee to go, stop at the Cowabunga for a great one.
When we book again to go to Anaheim, we will definitely put this hotel at the top of our list. Price wise, it was extremely reasonable.

I arrived early but my room was not ready. That's ok, because I drove in and got into town about 11am. The woman gave me a parking pass anyway so I was able to park and go to Disneyland until late afternoon. The woman who checked me in later in the day, was very friendly and changed my room to a King with a HUGE inclosed patio. It was also right by the gigantic pool which was nice. No my room did not have a microwave but did have a mini fridge. I walked by some other rooms that the maids were cleaning and they did have microwaves. A friend of mine who stayed there few weeks earlier said she had the microwave but no refergerator so whatever. I didn't need the microwave anyway but if I had had my kids with me, I would have been irritated because we always pop popcorn and take it with us to Disneyland. The cable TV had a good selection. I did not turn on the air conditioner because I had a small fan with me, so I just opened the glass doors and put it in the window. I hate hotel towels so I had my own, but I had to use them for the floors and they were pretty thin and yucky. The bathroom floors are a ceramic tile and they were very very slippery and I almost fell and killed myself twice. They really need a better bathmat type towel I'm sure i'm not the first. The carpet seemed fine to me but then again I was wearing black socks so if they were dirty I couln't tell. The bed was firm but comfortable. There was a library convention in town, and the place was booked but I never heard any loud noise. AS for the location to the parks. I have stayed many times right at the crosswalk into Disneyland about 7-8 doors closer. I will say this. This hotel and the Castle Inn right next door is about the limit as far as walking distance in my opinion. Much farther down Harbor and it will become too far. There were a few times I really wanted to go back to my room for something but thought "I just can't go all the way back it's too far" I never ate at the breakfast buffet I didnt' have time. I wanted to be at the park 1/2 hour before rope drop which meant leaving the hotel about 7:15. I grabbed a cup of coffee ( I always take my own pot I hate hotel coffee) and a costco muffin and made my way to Disneyland. Anyway YES I would stay here again, it was way cheaper than other hotels closer was fine. It was NOT A DUMP some people want 5 star service for 2 star price. OH regarding the parking, Yes you have to pay, BUT they let you stay parked until midnight even on the day you check out, so you can avoid the horrible parking garage at Disneyland, and it;s $8 cheaper too. Yes some other hotels let you park for free, but it's very tight. There is plenty of parking here so I'm ok with the $4 fee. Ok I'm done.

“Never will stay here again!”

We have stayed at the Plaza many times and each time it just gets worse and worse. They are raising their prices, charge for parking and wi-fi, and their customer service is horrible!

We just stayed there from June 25 through the 30th and won't be staying there again!

The rooms were not clean! The floors were so dirty, it was disgusting. Our socks and feet were black all the time! The bathroom never seemed clean at all.

We had a hard time with check in and had to be moved to another room. My niece had a broken foot and while switching rooms slipped in the hallway becasue they had mopped it, but didn't not have any kind of warning signs up! There was a maid standing right there when she fell and the woman laughed at her. It was not a great way to star the trip.

Over the next few days we had housekeeping issues as well as front desk issues. It just seemed like something was always going wrong.

This place is getting dumpier and dumpier by the minute and I will never stay here again!
