I work in a travel agents and after showing one of my customers a recent review of this hotel I felt that I just had to write my own.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for the first two weeks in August,2008 and it was fully booked. Yes, there were loads of people around at breakfast and the odd spillage is inevitable but we never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to get a table, we even sat outside somedays in the garden which was very nice. There were some very rude, loud, obnoxious people who came down to breakfast at 9.30am (closing time) and demanded that they should be allowed to get their breakfast and then complained when the staff were unable to re-stock the items. The breakfast was very good and if you get bored of the same stuff every day (waffles, muffins, bagels, cereals, bacon. sausage, eggs etc) then there's nothing to stop you paying for breakfast elswhere. The free food on an evening was ok. Three nights - one cheese and crackers, one chips and crudites and the other night was a barbecue.free drinks and beer was a bonus on these nights too. People should not complain about these, they are FREE. After every evening out we could always get free coffee from the machines in the breakfast room too.

You always get someone, whether it be here or on a half board basis in Spain that will take fruit, bread rolls, fruit juice etc out of the dining room for later in the day. It's just the way people are unfortunately.

We had a one bedroomed suite, which was light-cleaned everyday and the beds were made and the trash was taken out. The cups and glasses were even put in the dishwasher for us!
It was ok size wise as my 16 year old son slept on the double pull-out bed in the lounge and watched the t.v. which was in a cabinet at the end of the bed. My husband and I slept in one of the double beds in the bedroom and our 12 yr old daughter slept in the other. We also had a tv in our bedroom.If we stayed here again, then I would book a two-bedroomed suite.

The cleaners were busy all day in and around the hotel. The reception staff were great and no matter where you wanted to go they always had a map there and one for the way back too. If they didn't have one pre-printed then they googled one for you!

I have to be honest and say that these would probably be a three star rating , but after doing loads of research if you need larger than average accommodation for your family these are by far and away the best in the Anaheim area and I would have no hesitation in returning here. It is a great base for exploring all the fantastic beaches, Los Angeles etc. We even drove to Las Vegas from here and returned a couple of days later. There is also a lovely new shopping area called The Block at Orange which is five mins away by car.

I would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone.

The location and the staff were amazing and as for the rooms and service, fanastic. We booked a one bedroom suite and it felt like a apartment. Full size kitcken, lounge area and separate bathroom. each morning there was a full buffett breakfast with so many choices. They do happy hours on couple of nights, free beer, wine and soft drinks and also a free Bar B Que night. Talk about saving the family money. I would not stay anywhere else.

I loved every bit of the Staybridge suites! Its great for going to disneyland because theres a shuttle bus to it every 20 minutes. You can also book your disneyland tickets at reception. There is a small shop for essentials. Beds VERY comfortable!! Pool great! I would stay there again!

Please do not read all the great reviews for this place. My family and I are still at the hotel finishing our 4 day visit to Disneyland and cannot wait to leave this horrible hotel! We stayed because of all the wonderful reviews on this site. Either they are all liers or they do not expect much from a hotel because nothing is good here. Let me list the pros and cons:

pro: close to the Disney park, free breakfast daily

cons: the breakfast sucks and you have to fight the entire hotel for every bite. They just run in, cut you off in line and good luck getting anything. We have had to make our own beds every single day of our stay, reuse wet towels and use our own bags for trashbags and take it out too. We call daily and they practically call us liers for calling and telling them that there is no house keeping at all! The managers don't believe us and they tell us that the logs state that house keeping came in. I told them that I made the beds every day and if I was gonna get paid for housekeeping? They would only bring us towels if we called several times and begged, they werent happy about it and they never changed our trash! We only did.
We were on the phone several times daily and no matter what we said, they didnt do anything to fix the problem and continued to treat my wife and I as though we were crazy and liers. I must say that we have never before written a review on this site and we dont usually complain, but this is just too much! For our entire stay we will have made our beds at the hotel ourselves, changed the trash and taken it out ourselves, reused wet towels daily bla bla bla. I cannot write about everything that was negative on here otherwise this would take all day. We stayed on the fourth floor and it was full of trash bags, trays and towels all day. We asked why and they said that they take it out at night, which simply means they do leave it out in the hallways all day.

DONT STAY HERE EVER!!!! If you dont believe me come down and try it yourself, but save yourself the money and headache. Go somewhere else no matter what you read or hear...it is obviously not real...run..run far away from here as fast as you can!
We will never return, never say a good thing about this place to anyone and my wife will be calling their coorporate office first thing when we return as well as the BBB.
