We were actually visiting nearby Phoenix, but we wanted to see the art galleries in Old Town Scottsdale so we stayed at this hotel. We were a little nervous about some negative reviews, but the hotel was very nice and the staff was very attentive. We especially liked the indoor pool. It was over 100 degrees outside, too hot to... more
What an amazing stay! Located in the heart of Scottsdale near shopping and dining. The new Manager and staff were so accomodating and so nice, they went out of their way to accomodate everything we needed. The rooms were so clean and the location was great. We will always stay at this hotel when we come to Scottsdale. Thank you... more
This was a business trip-talked with Mgr. 1 mo before arrival told him we might have to change the dates within a day of coming there. He swore no problem. Had to cancel first night of 3 night stay. Called that day he refused to cancel said they had a 24hr-4 PM cancellation policy. Charged us $600 for unused rooms... more
I have started to go to scottsdale on buisness trip every week and once I was booked in Comfort suites on Drinkwater Dr by my company's travel services. We had no experience on this hotel so it was a first shot. Price was expensive considering its class and trust me I have been from Vegabonds to Ritz Carlton's. First day... more
We stayed here for three nights at the end of a long AZ vacation. The location was great. Check in was easy and our stay was smooth. We had two queens and a living area. We heard no street noise. The beds were comfy and the fridge/micro saved us time and money because we didn't have to eat out each... more
I stayed here for spring training 2006. It is a horrible hotel. The hallways are filthy, they looked like they had not been vacumed in months, ditto for the very small slow elevator. The room had a musty smell and I could hear lots of outside noise even with window shut. The in room refrigerator was so loud I unplugged... more
Good location. Helpful, friendly staff. I needed some toiletries and they happily provided them to me. Nice breakfast including hot waffles. Free wireless internet. Spacious 2 queen bedroom with a separate pull out sofa. Great location and hotel for a low price. I've stayed here on two separate occassions. more
Compared to the Residents Inn on Scottsdale Rd, these suites are cheaper, in a much better location, have nicer beds, and nicer rooms overall. Internet, pool, and TVs were too similar to judge. Residents Inn has more attentive staff, but whenever I go back on business it's hard to beat Comfort Suites. Use an Amex card to get a really... more
We stayed at the Comfort Suites Old Town with 4 children. The rooms are very small. The bathroom doesn't have the sink outside of the tub and toilet area so that makes it difficult with a lot of people needing to use it. The sheets were yellow and kept coming untucked because the pad underneath was too small. Housekeeping knocked... more
