Very nice hotel in the Scottsdale area. Hotel is adjacent to the TPC Championship Course, so you have some really great views. Hotel check-in staff were very pleasant upon arrival and departure. The two room suite set-up was very spacious. Nice linens and bath products. Comfortable bed. The pool is smallish, but more than adequete for a quick dip. Pool... more

This hotel would be perfect for a night or a two week stay. The bedroom area is separated from the living area by frosted glass French doors. The marble bath had a shower separate from the garden tub. Plenty of lighting. Most rooms faced courtyards or a golf course. Peaceful. We sat on a bench and watched rabbits and quail... more

This hotel is unfortunately located in the landing path of a nearby airport. It is not an international airport, but every day during my stay I woke up around 6:30 AM with the noise of the planes landing. I think they should improve the noise insulation in the rooms. The room was larger than the typical hotel, with a seating... more

My husband and I stayed here while he attended a conference at the JW. (Sold out, BOO!!!) Check in was quick and the staff friendly. I found our suite spacious and comfortable. Overall it was quiet, with the exception of the planes flying over in the early morning hours. (We live near an airport back at home, so not a... more

Terrific stay at a high quality hotel. We also got a great off-season rate. Staff were wonderful, the room was extraordinary and we had a great time sitting in the sun by the big, clean pool. We will stay here again! John & Betsy Washington more

Before we arrived, we contact Ms. Newman; very professional and cheerful. When we arrived, we were greeted by a tall, beautiful and friendly young lady at the front desk. Those are only two of several incredible staff members at McDowell mountains. Our room was nice and comfortable and overlooked the golf course. Dinner was expensive but delicious. The pool was... more

Was at this hotel for a conference. I have stayed at some other Scottsdale resorts and this one does not compare. If you are looking for a true resort, look someplace else. This is a clean hotel that sits next to a golf course, but does not have the feel of a real resort. My room was very spacious with... more

I have stayed at the Camelback, the JW Marriott and this hotel can hold its own! I loved my experience here! It does not have a spa...many local ones are so close if you don't want to skip that luxury. I really like pool side drink service which this lacks....(you can call from a house phone by the pool and... more

So im writing this review outside on my balcony of the hotel room wishing I was here in Scottsdale for another week. I booked this hotel from reading the reviews and also because it was close to my friends living here. I came here with 2 buddies for New Years and arrived Dec 31st early morning. As soon as you... more

The only reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of 4 was due to the noise. This hotel is next to an executive airport, and at 5 AM, the private Jets started taking off. Also, you could easily hear your neighbor running their shower. It's too bad, because the rooms are exceptional, staff is great, and food is well above average. more
