A remodeled motel trying to be a resort, but still has the rooms of an old motel. Small bathrooms, popcorn ceiling, bad lighting, noisy marginal air conditioner. Mostly white atmosphere shows all the dirt and looks dingy. The bed was great. The pools looked great. more

Like other posters have said, the pool is pretty fantastic, the rooms leave plenty to be desired (cleanliness, light, location of clock, phone, function of TV, etc), for a four star hotel. I'd probably go back, just to lounge by the pool, but wouldn't pay full price, and certainly wouldn't go on a business trip. more

Before making a reservation for this hotel I read many of the reviews contained in Trip Advisor and was a bit concerned as there were some mixed thoughts. However I am so pleased that I decided to stay at Mondrian. The location is perfect (close to all the great shopping and restauarants) the staff could not be nicer and the... more

My wife and I have had the opportunity to stay a a number of hotels in Scotsdale and our experience at the Mondrian was one of the best we have had. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff was incredible. Don't plan on staying anywhere else in the future. more

I have now stayed at The Mondrian 3 times and each time I say "never again." I am in Phx for work a few times each year and this hotel is on my corporate list of places I can stay - but sometimes I think I'd be better of at the Hilton Garden next door. The thing with The Mondrian... more

I bid on a 4-star resort room in Scottsdale with Priceline but ended up with the Mondrian. This hotel has 4-star grounds but the rooms are 2-star at best. The grounds and shared areas are nice; lots of cool little details and very stylish. The pools are pretty and everything appeared well maintained. The problem with this place are the... more

I stayed at the Mondrian while on business in Scottsdale. The first thing I noticed about the Mondrian was their staff. Everyone was very friendly, accomodating and genuine to myself and my requests. The Concierge team was great! They helped me enjoy my weekends by referring me to great golf courses, and providing me with directions to Sedona and Diamondback... more

We rented three rooms for our family and loved our stay. Our adult children loved the grounds and the pools. My wife is physically challenged and enjoyed the easy accessibility of the hotel. All of the staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us. When we arrived the on duty manager came out to personally welcome... more

I stayed in this hotel for two nights in August and was very satisfied with it…considering what I paid and where it is located. The best feature of the hotel is its location-right in the middle of old town Scottsdale. It is in an area full of great restaurants, bars, and an ice-cream parlor open till midnight. These are all... more
