Stayed at this hotel over the Veterans Day weekend with my 17 yr old son as we were in Phoenix for the Nascar race. I booked the hotel through Hotwire and was given an unbelievable rate of $50 per night. After reading previous reviews I was somewhat scared about the so-called noise and service. Nothing can be far from the... more

Spending my first night at Hotel Indigo leaves me with very high expectations for future hotels. Friendly knowledgeable service, beautiful yet comfortable atmosphere, a design like none other, and a prime location in downtown Scottsdale. Starting the evening off in the hotel's lounge bar area was thoroughly enjoyable with comfortable seating, inside and outside area, bomb fire, and a live... more

My sister and I decided on the Scottsdale/Phoenix area for our annual Fall Long-weekend and to attend the Tina Turner Concert We are both in our "young" 50s and read some of the previous reviews and had some reservations about staying at the Indigo. However I can honestly our 4 nights 10/23-10/27 we were glad that we did not change... more

There was a Travelzoo promotion which I booked. I was on my way back from a trip and just wanted a comfortable room and a decent night's sleep. The room I describe as Kimpton-wannabe. I did find the bed comfortable, and the layout made clever use of the space. The only thing I didn't like about the room was the... more

We stayed in the Hotel Indigo for four nights the weekend of the UGA - ASU game. Booked with a discount rate because a friend learned of a discount code. Payed $115 a night for the executive suite. It was well worth that. Everyone from the bartenders to the front desk to the valet were super. Never got an attitude... more

I live in Phoenix, but have stayed at the Hotel Indigo on four occasions. They often have great specials online using various travel websites. The location is the key - it is smack-dab in the middle of Old Town Scottsdale, with a three-five minute walk to virtually every bar, restaurant, nightclub, and art gallery as well as Scottsdale Fashion Square.... more

We booked and paid for this hotel as our last of 16 nights in Arizona. When we arrived and produced our voucher, it was immediately obvious there was a problem. The manager arrived and tried to usher us away to a corner, but my husband stayed at the front desk. He was told they were over-booked and we couldn't stay.... more

As some others said, it's like Ikea came and designed and furnished the room. Hardwood floors, ample bathroom with good lighting, flat screen TV, unique style desk work area. Hotel bar has a band on Thursdays that draws the Scottsdale cougar crowd, and there's about 10 bars all within 2 or 3 blocks that tear it up Thursday through Sunday.... more

Let me start off by satying that I only paid $37 a night via priceline bidding, so for that price I got a wonderful deal. I think though that had we paid regular price we would have been disappointed. The room was very clean, staff was very professional and extremely helpful but no real thrills here though. And what I... more
