My 15 year old son and I stayed at Golden Tulip twice while using Buenos Aires as a hub for three trips around southern South America. The rooms we had were spacious, clean and attractive. The plumbing and lighting were in good order. Be sure to ask for a quiet room on a high floor, lest you be assigned one... more

I was in the Savoy in May by a medical event meeting. Me and my wife were in a lateral room with no minimal conditions for an 3 star hotel and I was told that was a 4 satr hotel. The bathroom was very old and malfunction. The only thing that was ok it was the fact that the room... more

After a cancellation of our flight to DFW (at 11 p.m. for a 11:30 flight) we were literally thrust out on the street with no help from the airline in obtaining overnight accommodations. I was able to book this hotel using the airport's internet facilities and was lucky to do so. The hotel turned out to be among the best... more

50% of the building is newly renovated (rooms & public areas) on a 4 star superior basis. The whole process will be finished by Sept 08: lobby, restaurant, ballrooms, entrance, facade. Guests are accommodated in this new side. The price-quality equation is reasonable, and the standard of service has always been remarked. We are adding photos of the new rooms more

Some of the nicer pictures in their website are not of the actual hotel. It is not a four star hotel by any means: 3-star would also be a stretch. The location is not the worst but far from the best. Rooms are shabby and the carpet has not been cleaned in a very long time. Wonderful breakfast and the... more

We stayed here for four nights in November 2006 immediately upon our arrival in Argentina. I have to say I expected a bit more from this place. It seems that they are advertising themselves as an international business-class hotel, but the room did not have the amenities one would expect for this class (such as tea and coffee or an... more

Room had dirty carpet with cigarrette burns. Bathtub did not work. Elevator broken. Vigorous complaining got us another room in the renovated portion - cleaner. The offered "suite" was even worse than the original room. Moved heaven and earth to switch hotels after that first night. Positives? Breakfast was good. more

Let's start by what's good: Great location and amazing buffet. Staff was nice too. Disappointing: the rooms. I made sure I was on the renovated part of the hotel BUT comfort was basic, bathrooms outdated (no ventilation system) poor decoration too. Gone are the grand days of this hotel. I wouldn't pay more than 80USD/night for what you will get. more

The rooms are not very nice, I had one of the older rooms and the decor was old and very run down. The staff were not very friendly - quite rude at the reception. The breakfast was very nice. more

Our rugby team had 10 days minimum at this place - we didn't wreck it and we even had the staff on our side with beer and food flowing all hours. Rooms large, clean and comfortable. Internet great. Restaurant great breakfasts. Dinner was a limited menu HOWEVER the food and service were brilliant. We made friends with all staff and... more
