The Miravida Soho epitomizes a conscious, aware, independent traveler's hotel. It offers an ideal location, very comfortable accomodations, a stylish understated design, delicious food and wine, great value and an extremely helpful, knowledgeable and available staff. We travel a good deal throughout the world, and we were fortunate enough to stay at the MIravida Soho for eight days in October... more

My husband and I just returned from Buenos Aires where we spent five nights at Miravida Soho. It was just terrific! We stayed in the previously mentioned Room 5 and had no complaints. The room is not large, but is lovely and was perfect for us. The bed is extremely comfortable, and we slept well every night of our stay.... more

After reading glowing reviews for the Mira Vida Soho, I was very excited about spending the last two nights of my honeymoon there. We checked in at 11pm and dropped our bags off. The building was pretty but the location was a bit sketchy (and I say this as someone who lives in South London). In the course of 24... more

Rather than repeat the glowing reviews, I agree that the nieghborhood is great, The property well renovated ( For BA). The breakfast is cooked to order and very enjoyable. Our room was comfortable and we don't regret our stay there but would like to set the record straight for other travelers. James and his staff are lovely and accomodating. In... more

I appreciate the reviewer's honesty and candour and she has brought up some things that I was thinking I wish more people would be aware of, to make sure they are not disappointed by staying with us. There are also a couple of points that I disagree with however, the main one being about 'kickbacks', particularly in regard to restaurants....

We stayed at the Miravida Soho hotel in October of 2008, in room #3 on the upper floor. This hotel was in a residential area with a lot of cafes, little grocery stores and close to the subway. We liked its newly designed interior, with dark wood floors contrasting otherwise bright space. It was kept meticulously clean. The room itself... more

I stayed at Mira Vida for four nights from late September to early October and can echo many of the compliments that others have already posted. Pros: 1. The hotel is beautifully renovated in one of the best neighborhoods of Buenos Aires and yet very competitively priced. 2. James and his staff are extremely friendly and hospitable. They e-mailed me... more

My husband and I were fortunate enough to get rooms at the Miravida Soho for seven nights in September. I did a tremendous amount of research on TA before booking our room here. The glowing reviews seemed almost too good to be true, but I can tell you now that this place completely lives up to its reputation. THE LOCATION:... more

After reading the not so rave review of Red Room 5, we had trepidations. But we kept our reservation anyway. BIG mistake. Upon entering our room, there was an inccessant vibration like we were on top of the train tracks. When we realized it was the A/C that made the window vibrate, we asked them to turn off the A/C... more

I understand that we can't please everyone, and that we are far from perfect, but I think accusing my staff of being liars and making up false reviews (without offering a shred of evidence) is uncalled for and reflects badly on the writer of this review. Perhaps the staff member referred to (whom nearly every single other guest raves about)...

We just returned from an absolutely wonderful stay at Miravida Soho. This small hotel with six rooms exceeded all expectations. Jim, the owner and his delightful staff succeeded in making us feel welcome and special each and every day of our 7 night stay. The delicious breakfast was the start of each day, and enough to last us until a... more

My girlfriend and I stayed in Miravida Soho for five nights in June of 2008. We both agree that it was hands down one of the best hotel experiences we have had the opportunity to enjoy. Jim, Nigel and all of the staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful. James sat down with us a few nights and discussed activities, culture... more
