We have just returned from Costa Rica and luckily only had to stay one night in this hotel, it was awful. From the guy at check in who had no clue what he was doing, then the drink that arrived with an insect in it, and the cold lunch, which was a pizza my partnert took a bite from it... more

We just returned from the Los Suenos Marriot and all 9 of us (grandparents, parents and kids) all thought it was great. The pools are fantastic (4 ft and 2 2ft pools). San Jose Marriott was a great option for our first and last night in Costa Rica. It wasn't an "authentic Costa Rican" experience by a long shot, but it was a very nice, very comfortable hotel. It is a beautiful hotel - gorgeous grounds. Very convenient with shuttles and taxis easy to get. The restaurant was excellent - buffet breakfast - so many choices!
