Very clean, new hotel. Rooms are spacious and neat (ours held 5 easily with a single bed that rolled out underneath one of the doubles). Bathroom was delux. Breakfast was uninspired but edible. Staff was helpful and responsive. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. more

We stayed here for two nights August 2008. Rooms were large and very clean, great showers. The view would have been great but the volcano remained shrouded in mist all the time we were there. Nice place. Beautiful grounds. Fantastic view. Beds comfy. HUGE bathroom. But we hated the gravel road in (some might call it rock!) The breakfast was nice but otherwise skip it for lunch and dinner. Absolutely loved the place! Will go back no question about it. My family and I are Costa Ricans, so their discount when paying using a certain brand of credit cards was excellent. Arenal Manoa may be one the best hotels available for the money - about $100 a night in the off season.
