Hotel is below average. It felt very dated, old and tatty, both in the public areas and the rooms themselves. The lobby looked like something out of the 70s. The room looked clean, but just didn't feel clean. The bathroom is functional, but again quite dated. The TV had 30 channels, none of which had a good signal. The buffet... more

Stayed at the hotel during 3 day trip to the park. The hotel was very average but comfortable enough. Food was ok although buffet style it was full board which was nice although a bit samey. The early starts and hectic schedule meant that there was no time really to enjoy the pool facilities. Rooms did have insects in them... more

We stayed here in November 2007. It was a bit of an arduous journey by road from Jaipur to get there but half the fun was had in seeing rural India and stopping at roadside restaurants eating bhajis and pakoras!! When we arrived we were greeted by the owner and his wife (it's a family-owned hotel) and he was a... more

Rooms often had insects in them which was possibly to be expected near a national park. All during the day and night we could hear trains going past and sounding their horn. The rooms were OK , just about 3star rating. The restaurant was fairly average and the food became a bit repetitive, the quality was OK. Good location but... more

Possibly the best place to stay for Ranthambore Park. Why? Very friendly, relaxing, great value full board deal, great pool, large clean luxury rooms most 5 stars would be proud of. This hotel confirms my view that privately owned hotels offer better value and service than the large chains. The owner was charming and helpful, everything organised for us (safari... more

My partner and i are regular visitors to India and decided to visit Rathambore National park and and stay at the Rathambore Regency hotel. Wow! what a lovely place the staff are extremely friendly and cannot do enough for you. The food was great and the rooms very pleasant not luxurious but hey you are in the National Park. Contacting... more

There is nothing special about this hotel. The lobby is okay. The computers worked, which was great. The room is really big but it didn't feel very clean. I can't explain, but it has the feeling of a bit dirty. The restaurant was not good. I went in and ordered naan, which is what I did in India when I... more

Hotel was average, there was little if no hot water, no hair dryers, no bottled water in rooms which was a must. The air conditioning is above the bed making it a noisey night. But the highlight of the trip was seeing 4 tigers in the park Fab! 3 females and 1 male. Lots of super photos. more

I had read the previous excellent reviews on Trip Advisor and was not to be disappointed. We travelled with children aged 7 & 9 and this hotel looked after our every need. The attentiveness of the staff was brilliant and I would throughly recommend this as a very family friendly hotel. They arranged our safaris over our 3 day stay... more

The Ranthambore Regency was a special tranquil oasis on our first trip to India. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The food was excellent and plentiful. But the best part of the Regency is the service-oriented staff. The staff was unbelievably helpful, from booking the tiger safaris, to booking us a driver to our next destination, to packing boxed... more
