My wife and I are both 60 and we were looking for a warm relaxing break in the autumn when the weather had declined in England. Our positives regarding the location (not necessarily the Marriott) are - fantastic snorkelling straight off the beach, fabulous weather (the sun shone for the entire 14 days) and we were able to play golf... more

We stayed at the Marriott Taba Heights for a week in October. This has got to be great value surely ? for a half board stay for a week ? The hotel is wonderful... spacious and peaceful and even though it accommadates so many people you can always find a quiet corner to chill. The rooms are huge and spotless... more

Honeymoon. Plus points. They place is beautifully laid out in gardens which were a joy to walk through at any time of the day or night. We were put way out on the edge of the complex where we could walk through the patio doors, over lush grass, and straight onto the beautiful beach. Walk into the sea and snorkel... more

We enjoyed 7 days in the Marriot Taba Heights in October with our two girls aged 11 and 15.. Our week fell partly in half term and partly afterwards. For a majority of our stay therefore the hotel was very busy and our review reflects this. We chose Taba because of its shorter flight time than the Caribbean but still... more

Great hotel and location - hope to go back! I think the design of the pool and its setting is beautiful, with plenty of room for swimming. The pool staff make great bespoke fruit cocktails, and icecreams are a stroll away from the sunbeds. Aqua-aerobic session every day, but pool big enough so doesnt interfere with those that just want... more

Just returned from the Marriott at Taba Heights, I went with my husband and friend, we booked with last minute and travelled with Peltours, The whole trip to the hotel was good the seats on plane are a bit cramped but not a lot different from other air lines. Got to Taba and as usual you have the people wanting... more

Stayed 27th Oct - 3rd November 2008. Nice looking hotel, aesthetically pleasing surroundings. Flew with Jet2 who were absoulutely rubbish but thats another story. Coach driver asked for tips in a rude manner, as did the 'case person' who lifted my case off the baggage thing. Upon arrival we were given our room number which was right next to reception. As... more

Just come back from a week at the Marriott. Definately NOT 5* more good 3*/4*. Very helpful manager Jan, everything you needed to know and was extremely obliging. Food was OK with themed evenings, Chinese, Indian, etc, breakfast was better with omelettes made to your liking, beans were like bulletts, but the bread is outstanding. There was always something to... more

Me and my wife have just returned from Marriot Taba Heights. It is a great hotel with a lovely manager, Jan. Tries to do his best for all there. The breakfast food had good variety, milk in foreign countries is not usually to my liking but thats not the hotels fault. otherwise the selection and variety was great. The only... more

I have just returned from a week at the marriott beach resort. First impressions were good, however missgivings soon appeared. The service of the staff in the restaurant is very slow, indeed if you manage to get tea or coffee that is warm at breakfast you did very well indeed. The cleanliness in the restaurant was of serious concern, to... more
