I really liked this hotel Room new and very nice but a little far away from beach and pools . Hotels personal very friendly and helpfull without tips. Food very good and for all the tastes i think. The resort is huge but all green and clean. In my room my AC stopped working at a moment and i didn't... more

An excellent holiday. First time in Egypt, we were not quite sure what to expect. We had been concerned about rumours that Egyptian hotels did not meet European standards. The Melia Sinai has totally changed that preconception. An excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff in a splendid location sitting on top of one of the best reefs in the... more

Location Researching our family holiday it was apparent that this was going to be more than just an average hotel. At the time of booking Trip advisor rated the hotel 10th, since then some sad people have reduced its ranking. So my story is how it was for us. A look at GoogleEarth shows how well the Melia Sinai sits... more

This is an excellent choice of hotel for the diver or snorkeller interested in marine life on a coral reef. There is a well organised dive operator on site, Extra Divers, and the house reef is accessed directly from the hotel. Extra divers web site http://extradivers.info/cms/front_content.php?idcat=123 You have to present your certification card(s), log book and medical statement before diving.... more

My mum and myself are just back from a week long holiday at the Melia Sinai (Aug. 2008) and I am compelled to comment as it was one of the best holidays I have ever experienced with the hotel playing a great part in this. My experience has always been that 5 star hotels outside Europe, c etc. rarely match... more

Stayed 11 days All Inclusive in July which was enough Airport Collection: Agreed up front price with hotel to pick up party of 5 from airport but got charged twice as much by taxi driver for 2 cars - hotel refunded the difference after complaining. Costs 20 Euros each way but plenty of taxis at airport if you want to... more

OK let me start with the good. - reef in front of the hotel was very good great snorkeling - general beauty of the resort The bad (where to begin) - Food was sad. You are stuck with either a buffet which is the same everyday, or a simple sandwich or pizza meal by the pool. The buffet wasn't good... more

We have had a lovely holiday at the Melia Sinai. We stayed in rooms by the Isis pool which is a quiet area of the hotel overlooking a swimming pool with a pool bar. (The drinks here are included in AI) The food was very good for a buffet style restaurant, with pancakes and omelettes for breakfast and pasta cooked... more

We went to this hotel in June. The hotel, on looks and amenities, it was more like a 3 star. it didnt have a minibar, or a tea/ coffee making facilities. the food was the same thing every day, and it was the worst hotel i have stayed in my life. I know this may seem a bit inappropriate, but... more
