1st off let me point out that this was not my/our first trip to Egypt; we've been to Cairo (Marriott) and Hurghada (Grand Resort) earlier and theese trips doubtless have coloured our expectations. We knew from our travel-agents web that the hotel was not new, but reconstructed recently. A google search on the hotel revealed the reason, a terrorist bomb... more

I came across this on the teletext shortly before we went. My husband my daughter who was 14 at the time and my self all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful hotel. Plenty of pool area, which wound its way around the centre of the grounds. Enough areas to sunbathe, eating areas, different types of food. Happy waiters, all... more

Spent a wonderful week at Ghazala in April and it will be a shame if it doesn't re-appear in the British brochures soon. Great location, just a couple of minutes from Namma Bay centre (though you've to cross a very busy road). Rooms were cleaned & towels changed daily, staff were virtually all great with a good sense of humour.... more

The hotel is gorgeous! Amazingly clean. We stayed in a suite which is a must. You are away from the 'dodgy' entertainment, have fantastic views... more

Everyone advises on beware of the beggers, so as this is a common factor i will start from the airport. The second you comeout of Sharm airport, you head towards the coaches about 4mins walk from the front doors. You will find that someone will 'help' you put your luggage on the coach and forcefully stick his hand out for... more

Just returned from a week at the Ghazala Gardens 20th-27th March. The weather was fantastic 32-37, but did cool down on the last day. There are 4 pools in total a shallow children’s pool and 3 others that cascade into each other. The landscaping creates a lazy river feel. The top pool is heated in winter, the middle pool has... more
