The hotel is quite generic. It is located a little away from the town center and faces a very busy road along with many hotels and hotels-in-building. In the front, the hotel has a set of sculptures that will look very familiar. Staff speaks excellent English, mostly young college students from the local universities. The waistaff will talk your ear off over breakfast...but I find this a great opporunity to find out how others see the world. Rooms are comfortable w/tv (if you care) and a fridge. If you are looking for charm and character you are in the wrong place, but in every other respect the Khemera Angkor Hotel is well located, good quality accomodation with good, inexpensive internet access. 2 km from the Old Quarter and the restaurants and markets. We ate well at Kama Sutra (Indian) and Soup Dragon (Vietnamese). more
