We stayed at the Khemara Hotel as part of a package tour. If we 'd had a choice, I would have probably chosen a different hotel. But Khemara hotel isn't a bad option for a couple of nights. The rooms are huge and very clean. Most of the staff speak decent English and are helpfull. The pool is pretty small,... more

Stayed here on my last night in Cambodia and was so glad I did. It's clean, nicely decorated and spacious. Breakfast was very good. Didn't bother to go out at all as the room was so comfortable. more

The hotel is quite generic. It is located a little away from the town center and faces a very busy road along with many hotels and hotels-in-building. In the front, the hotel has a set of sculptures that will look very familiar. Not only because of its Angkor theme but almost all other hotels have identical scruptures (possibly different subsets)... more

Staff speaks excellent English, mostly young college students from the local universities. The waistaff will talk your ear off over breakfast...but I find this a great opporunity to find out how others see the world. Rooms are comfortable w/tv (if you care) and a fridge. Beds are cozy and there is plenty of hot water. Ffront desk has internet, money... more

Booked this place at the last minute online (via hotels combined - recommended!). Looks average from the outside but the rooms are very high quality by Cambodian standards (e.g. wood flooring), large and bright, always very clean, and the staff were very friendly and keen to help. Sadly the hotel management had decided to choose Christmas Eve to start doing... more

The hotel was just average. It was very hot in Siem Reap and while the rooms were air conditioned, the halls were not and they were dark and very stuffy. I do understand that electricity is very expensive and needs to be used carefully, so this is really not a complaint but an observation. The breakfast was adequate, but it... more

If you are looking for charm and character you are in the wrong place, but in every other respect the Khemera Angkor Hotel is well located, good quality accomodation with good, inexpensive internet access. 2 km from the Old Quarter and the restaurants and markets. We ate well at Kama Sutra (Indian) and Soup Dragon (Vietnamese). more

Probably, could've booked this cheaper via the internet. Staff are very friendly and go out of their way to be accomodating. Like all the other hotels in the area it is only 5km from the airport, temples and downtown. Breakfasts were very nice but opted to check out the local scene when it came to lunch and dinner. Overall, the... more

We stayed at the Khemara from 5 - 9 August 2006. It is rated as a 4 star hotel and by Australian standards it would be a very comfortable 3 star. Rooms were spacious and fitted out nicely, and staff seemed a pretty happy bunch, always smiling and eager to please. Bathrooms were also very clean. Hotel has recently been... more

Stayed at the Khemara for 3 days. Hotel is deserving of it's 4 star rating. Staff are friendly. Hotel is very clean. Rooms are large with air conditioning. Pool and Gym are well equipped. Buffet breakfast is not the best I've ever had but still above average. Not a lot to do in Siem Reap except visit the temples which... more
