At first I was impressed with this hotel. But then the problems started. No hot water in the wash basins, the shower hot water lasted about 3 minutes. The air conditioner in the room was not working properly, the toilet flush was broken most days, the roof outside my room leaked and even after pointing this out to staff on... more

My wife and I stayed a couple of days (3 nights) at the Shint Mani at the beginning of the month. We followed the recommendation of a good friend, and we were not dissapointed... The Shinta Mani is a beautiful boutique hotel tucked away on a quiet street in Siem Riep. The town is easily accessibly by foot (about a 10 minute walk) or tuk-tuk. The staff is attentive and polite, and extremely helpful in arranging transportation, tour guides for Angkor Wat, etc. I wholeheartedly recommend the Shinta Mani! more

The Shinta Mani is just a delightful place to stay. It has a really calm chilled atmosphere. The building is of colonial style and such a change from your standard chain hotel.
