OUr agent recommended the Shangri La for the two nights we would be in SIngapore following our cruise. We paid for the Valley Wing which was the more exclusive accommodation and were told the price covered breakfast, afternoon tea, canapes and drinks in the evening. We had stayed at the Shangri La Hotel in Hong Kong and been very impressed... more

CLEANLINESS - brilliant ROOM - Just LOVELY Have stayed in Singapore many times and this is just one of the best............step out into the buzz of Singapore in just minutes.....or stay in the hotel for South East Asian luxury, tranquillity and... more

We recently stayed in the Shangri La in Singapore for a two night stop over en route to Bali. We arrived at 6am after a direct flight from the UK. The reception staff were really efficient and we were able to check in to our room even at this time. The hotel lobby is grand and our room was a... more

Very big and nice hotel. Fantastic lobby. My room was good with a nice view. All staff were friendly, from the maid and up. But I had a little problem when i arrived. They had to reserve money from my card (S$400) if I used any of their services (breakfast, roomservice, minibar etc.). But I had a debet card so... more

the hotel itself is very nice, on a huge plot with pool and gym at the centre. I stayed in the garden tower which had a really big room and nice balcony overlooking the gardens in the middle. I was disappointed in the location though, it was 5-10 min walk to orchard road and the metro station. the tv was... more

I have once again stayed at the Valley wing at Shangri la. As always the experience is unbeatable. The room, the service, the pool, the friendliness of the staff - everything was exceptional. The champagne bar is really something special - free champagne or wine or whatever I wanted all day long. The champagne is Moet et Chandon which is... more

For many people, Singapore is synonymous with Orchard Road, huge air-conditioned malls, immaculately dressed locals, sweating tourists and five star deluxe hotels. Say Orange Grove Road and Tanglin to many people and they will look at you with slight bemusement. That’s unless they have stayed at the Shangri-La Singapore because that is where you’ll find this luxury hotel tucked away... more

We decided to have a 3 day stop in Singapore whilst en route to Cairns, Australia for our Honeymoon Sept 2008. As it was a special occasion we decided to treat ourselves to a 5 star hotel and as it was only 2 nights, the cost was manageable. We paid about £250 per night for a Garden Wing Room which... more

We stayed in the Shangri-la Valley Wing for 2 nights and loved it. The hotel has a lovely pool and a choice of restaurants. We found the staff to be very helpful and attentive. The evening drinks and canapes that were included in our package in the Valley Wing were great too. It is of course an expensive hotel but... more

Stayed here during our Honeymoon. The valley wing is worth the extra amount of money, from the quality of the room, to the breakfast, Moet Champagne, Canapés, High Tea Delights, Service from the butlers, and much much more. The Shangri La Valley Wing is without doubt the best place to stay in Singapore. Hotel is an excellent location, it is... more
