Having stayed in Mandarin Oriental properties before, we were looking forward greatly to our stay. We arrived early in the morning after a very long flight from London expecting to check in straight away as we had paid extra for this, only to be told ourroom was not yet ready. Not a good start. They did provide us with coffee... more

Although the personnel is very friendly and the service fantastic, the stay itself was absolutely and unbeatably horrible and my #1 worst stay at a hotel ever. - Internet wasn't working properly - Aircon blew right into my face when in bed - TV-loudspeakers cracking, switching randomly off and on - neighbour's voices as they would have been sitting in... more

Just returned from a four night stay here and cannot say enough about how fantastic the whole experience was. We stayed in a Ocean Suite - decent size, well equipped room with a small balcony. Two things really stand out for me; one, the breakfast, there was an amazing selection of food on offer; noodles, sushi, Indian, Chinese, dim sum... more

We have just returned from three nights at the Mandarin Oriental - what a hotel, from entering to leaving the hotel everything is first class. We opted for a Club Room - this is highly recommended, it starts with a wonderful breakfast either continental or select from the menu, the foods on offer on the breakfast bar are incredible from... more

My husband and I have just returned from a three night stop over in Singapore staying at the Mandarin Oriental. We stayed in a Club Suite which allowed us access to the club lounge where we could enjoy complimentary breakfast, snacks, cocktails and champagne throughout the day. Every culinary delight you could ask for was on offer and the staff... more

The best services I’ve experienced during my stay in Asia. The rooms are not so big but very clean and fancy. The food was great, the thai one especially. I loved this hotel. more

If you go to Singapore with kids, better avoid the MO! The hotel pretends to be "child-friendly", so for a 4-days stopover way back from Bali to Europe we have chosen the MO (instead of the Shangri-La Valley Wing like last year): big mistake! As we wanted to have a drink before dinner in the Hotel-Lounge: no entry for kids... more

Stayed in the Mandarin for 3 nights when the city was prepating form the F1. Excellent hotel, having stayed in several other Mandarin hotels, this one lived up to my expectations! Excellent Service. In room check in on the club floor was a nice touch after a long flight. Rooms are excellent with great views over the harbour (see my... more

Welcome and check-in was a little bit below expectations. Staff was very friendly but the personal touch was missing. The room was ok nothing very special. The Clubfloor lounge is very large and serves very good snacks. The Chinese Restaurant on the 5th floor has excellent food and service is above expectations. The Bar was a bit disappointing. Overall the... more

I have always admired the fine details of Mandarin Hotels, but, was extra pleased with the newly renovated Mandarin Oriental. Situated close to the Esplanade Park, this hotel has the charm unique to Mandarin Hotels. The standard rooms are mid-sized, yet had all the necessities needed by a business traveller. In all my trips, I always make it a point... more
