In early August 2008, I had the pleasure of staying at The St. Regis during my vacation in DC. The service was beyond what I expected...the saying "treated like a Queen" applies here when speaking of the St Regis DC. I was celebrating my birthday in DC and spent 3 nights at this fabulous property. From the moment, the taxi... more

My family & I just returned from a stay at the St. Regis in Washington DC. Initially, my teenagers found it a bit stuffy, but quickly settled into enjoying the wonderful service. The location is 1 1/2 blocks from the North side of The White House. We easily walked to the National Mall and beyond. The check in and check... more

The hotel is very central and walking distance to all the main sites or a short taxi journey. We didn't use the metro but it is equally as handy. The rooms were of a decent size with reasonable sized bathrooms. The walk-in shower was fantastic after a hot day doing the sights. The rooms were of the standard expected for... more

My husband and I stayed at the St. Regis over the July 4th weekend as a little "stay-cation" (we live in the area). From the moment we pulled up to the building to check in to the time we drove away after checking out it was fantastic. The lobby is classy and inviting. Lemonade, tea and soft drinks are in... more

Stayed at the St. Regis while in the DC area for a family event out in Montgomery County. Absolutely beautiful hotel with a great staff and very large rooms - We stayed on the seventh floor, the only floor with the big palladium windows in each room. Valet service was quick and friendly, and "private dining" was super- quick. I... more

Wow, what service!!! I stayed at the hotel with my family shortly after they re-opened. Of course, the hotel is gorgeous and the location is prime. But more importantly, I was incredibly impressed with the service we received. We have small children, and while there is not much to do in the hotel for kids, the staff really went out... more

We expected more from the St. Regis having stayed at these properties in Rome and Monarch Beach. The location is great for business or pleasure, just a few blocks from the White House. The rooms however are quite small. Our bathroom was cramped and did not even have a tub. The service was just ok. We booked a package and... more

We stayed at the St. Regis for one week in March, just one month after the hotel reopened from a one-year major renovation. We are very familiar with this intimate hotel from previous stays in 2005 and 2006. All the rooms were gutted, and they have new furniture, deluxe beds and Italian bed linens (must be 1000-thread count), completely new... more

I adding this as a late entry. I stayed over Fourth July Weekend. The location is excellent as it is right behind the White House. The area is very classy. When, you enter the hotel, you will be impressed with the decor, style and elegance. If you are not prepared to pay, you may not want to stay at the... more
