The hotel is a beautiful structure on the outside and the lobby is lovely. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. However, this hotel needs a major overall in the room department. This hotel was perfectly located for a first -timer into Vancouver. Allowed us the ability to stroll around central Vancouver at ease and never be far from our rest-stop! We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in early August, and loved every moment. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, the standard of service exceptional. Stayed here for 4 nights in July 2008. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The concierge was extremely helpful in recommending restaurants and helping plan a day trip to Victoria.
