An amazing honeymoonAll Staff very helpful and knowlegable. Apprciated everything particularily the penthouse suite which was amazing. Would certainly recommend and informed my tour operator of the excellent service. more
The hotel is good, everything clean and it's got a good central location. It's close to yaletown (very nice restaurants etc). However there are lot's of homeless people outside (not that i felt unsafe) that could make a first night impression of BC feel less impressed. There is no breakfast included however there is a whitespot in the building for... more
Location: 4 stars - Very convenient and walkable to most downtown attractions. Even Stanley Park is about 30 minutes by walk. There are a few adult entertainment facilities on Granville St, but we walked around 10PM and felt safe. Facility: 4 stars - New facility, clean room, although smaller. We stayed in 2 double bed rooms. The underground parking space... more
What a great staff. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the hotel manager, which is quite a novel idea. At check-in, we had a problem with our reservation; we reserved a room with 2 beds but were given a king bed. They corrected the problem within minutes even though being fully booked. The room was quite comfortable; it looked as... more
Very nice hotel at a reasonable price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms, although a little small, were clean and very comfortable. The White Spot Cafe had quality food for a decent price. We enjoyed our stay and will stay in this hotel again when we return to Vancouver. more
Stayed 3 nights from 24 April 2008. Seemed a bit out of the way from the CBD but actually an easy walk to the harbour. Room was clean and comfortable, rooftop terrace was a good feature. Granville St has its fair share of dubious types but we had no problems, exchanged pleasantries with one outside the 7-11 and he couldn't... more
Nice clean rooms. Staff willing to go the extra mile--they bent over backwards to ensure that my partner could print a document from her computer--very impressive. Free internet. Free local calls. Complimentary bottled water. Fridge in room, and microwave. Everything clean--and to drive it home, WHITE bedspreads. And a great finish: No surprise charges on the bill. I think these... more
Great hotel and great employees. This property is convenient to everything, in spite of it being across downtown from the harbor (only a 10 minute walk). We got in a day early and the only room they had was the penthouse. They gave it to us for a slight difference in price ($179.00) and let us stay in the PH... more
Fine hotel. Clean and spacious room. Nicely located (though the presence of doubtful individuals give Granville Street a weird atmosphere later at night), close to downtown points of interest. Despite the (in general) positive impression of this hotel, I wouldn't recommend staying here this summer. There's is a construction site right next to the hotel, causing significant disturbance. It woke... more
We stopped over in Vancouver on our way to Whistler. What a great Stay. Some of the reviews refer to the neighborhood and while it is on the edge of downtown, Vancouver is a huge diverse city and I have never felt unsafe walking around and this area was no different. The room had a very comfortable bed and a... more
